PROFILE OF JULIUS JAMES MSHELIZA

Julius James Msheliza, was born on 29th May, 1967 in Biu, Borno State to Hajiya Amina and J. S Msheliza.

He started his Primary school education at Mubi 1 Primary School in Mubi Local Government Area, and completed his Primary Six at Dumne ‘B’ Primary School in Song Local Government Area both in Adamawa State. Thereafter, he proceeded to Government Secondary School Monguno for his Secondary Education, and completed at Government Secondary School Waka – Biu, both in Borno State. He had his university education at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria where he obtained a Bachelor Degree in Chemistry in 1989. He also attended L.I.F.E. Theological Seminary, Ikorodu where he bagged Bachelor in Theology in Pastoral Studies in 2009. He’s also an Alumni of Word of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI) of the Living Faith Church.

Rev Julius Msheliza knew the Lord through the ministry of Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS) in February 1986, in his first year as an undergraduate at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Within a year of his salvation, he was elected into the leadership of the fellowship on Campus in view of his rapid growth and dedication to the Lord. He also served as one of the leaders of the Nigerian Christian Corpers Fellowship, during his Youth Service year in 1989 in Enugu.

He was called into full time Ministry shortly after his Youth Service in 1991, and served with Word of Life Full Gospel Church from 1991 – 2000, where he planted two Churches for the ministry in Jos and Lagos.

In 2000 through Divine leading he resigned his appointment with Word of Life Full Gospel Church and became full member of Foursquare Gospel Church, Sa’abo, Lagos. He later became an Assistant Pastor at the same church in 2001. He was then posted to Abuja in 2002 to assist Rev. Dr. Babajide Olowodola in starting the Foursquare Gospel Church, Asokoro, where he has served as the Resident Pastor from Inception till date.

Rev. Julius Msheliza is also a Regional Coordinator for the Global Leadership Network, covering the North Eastern Nigeria and Abuja.

He wants to be remembered as a man who lived simply but passionately for his master. A man who lived what he believes – lived and led from his conviction. Like Job, “…… the finest man in all the earth, a blameless – a man of complete integrity. One who fears God and stays away from evil” Job 1:8 (NLT)

He is married to Jamila Msheliza and the union is blessed with children.
